Usps tracking not updating december 2016 kristin and robert dating
Now with up to 11 scans per shipment, it's easier than ever to see where your package is at pickup, confirmed final delivery, and many points in between. And with new text alerts, you'll get updates on your package sent right to your phone. You can opt-in on our tracking web site or by simply texting your tracking number to 2USPS (28777).Choose between receiving alerts for all activity or just for delivery attempts.I recently shipped an item through the United States Postal Service and the package was lost. But I had the tracking information, which was not working.Thank you everyone for visiting this page to try and get a human on the phone at USPS. The automated voice did say all reps were busy, but that’s better than the crappy looping system they have. Today I tested my other methods listed further below, and they didn’t seem to work anymore. I guess the US Postal Service has changed their automated system and my older method described further below no longer works.
I wrote about packages disappearing into the black hole of this facility in three articles: Greg Palast's articles and BBC progams are seen all around the world-- except in the USA. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons License.
Most people probably don’t know what a universal service obligation is, much less that the Postal Service is bound by one.
But a USO, as it’s commonly called, is essential to ensuring that everyone receives the mail service they need.
Everytime I have had a package coming via USPS that includes tracking, I check the site religously. I then receive the package, and then check the site (see, wasn’t kidding about the moron part). A few hours later it updates and said it has been delivered. It half works–I keep checking just in case they get their junk together.
It was instated because consumers were laughing at them for not having tracking, and then going to UPS/Fed EX/Airborne even though it costs more. Anyway, USPS finally got with the 21st century (a while ago, but this is still relevant) and has tracking on some shipments. Like the moron I am, I keep checking for updates (something that UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne do the time) and nothing changes. This faux tracking is nothing more than a bureaucratic tease. I’m not sure how they decide who to ship with, the last time I selected “super saver shipping” (AKA free), they sent it UPS and I got lovely/timely meta data.
